다음은 필자가 무척 좋아하는 프로그램이지만 시청료 납부에 문제가 있어서(프리미엄 채널에 내는 돈이 아깝다는 또 다른 표현) 최근에는 보지 못하는 NBC의 또 다른 인기 드라마 `The West Wing'(미국 대통령 집무실)에 대한 소개를 할까 한다. 최근 한국의 정치적인 상황과 연관해 알아두면 재미있을 만한 대목이 많다. 아마 노 당선자가 이 드라마를 감상하고(그럴 시간이 있었을까 싶긴 하지만) 청와대 시스템 개혁의 아이디어를 얻은 것을 아닐까? 제법 묵직한 내용이 많아 2회에 걸쳐 소개한다.
