4일(현지시간) 실시간 국제통계사이트 월드오미터에 따르면 이날 현재 독일 내 코로나19 확진자는 9만1159명, 사망자는 1275명으로 집계됐다.
스페인(12만4736명), 이탈리아(11만9827명)에 이어 유럽에서 세 번째로 많은 규모다.
앙겔라 메르켈 독일 총리는 전날 각종 제한 조치를 유지한다는 방침을 밝히며 코로나19 확산 속도가 느려졌으나, 아직은 이런 추세가 뚜렷하지 않다고 평했다.
독일은 현재 오는 19일까지 공공시설, 상점 운영을 중단하고 공공장소에서 2명을 초과하는 모임을 금지하고 있다.
