With the Korean government seeking to explore the moon in 2020, a prototype of Korean rover has been unveiled for the first time. The prototype applied various designs to adjust to the environment of moon, where the daily emperature range is nearly 300 degrees celcius, and to be able to work on the rugged surface of the moon. After passing numerous tests, an unmanned launch vehicle will carry the rover to the moon. We will look into the technology of Korean rover and tasks ahead for its actual application.
