New methods of identity theft, so-called smishing is on the rise recently. By clicking on a text message of a free coupon or a wedding invitation, a small sum of money is settled via a person's mobile phone. Another example of smishing that is flourishing is via fake smartphone applications which can transfer a person's bank account information or money from the account to the scammer. People are enjoying the benefits of ICT technologies, including mobile payment system, internet banking and mobile wedding invitations, but at the same time they are having side effects as well. The cameras installed on smart TVs at home can turn into hidden cameras at anytime. To prevent the invasion of privacy and infringement of personal information, various upgraded versions of integrated information security solutions and vaccines are being introduced. A local information security company has created encoded space for applications and developed a program which can block forging and falsifying applications. In addition, fingerprinting recognition device is installed to prevent strangers from using other people's smartphones. Smartphones that have guest mode function are also introduced. We take a look at the security problems the development of ICT technology has brought and a new technology to solve this problem.
